Red Curried Chicken

Red Curried Chicken

Savor a medley of flavors with Red Curried Chicken, made with chunks of chicken and apples nestled in a creamy coconut sauce.

  • 1 pound chicken breasts, boneless and skinless 1 inch cubes
  • 3 tbsp flour
  • 1 tbsp red curry powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 1 1/2 cups golden delicious apples cubed
  • 1 cup onion chopped
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1 can coconut milk (13.6 ounce)


  • Mix flour, red curry powder, garlic powder and sea salt in small bowl. Place chicken in large resealable plastic bag or glass dish. Add flour mixture; toss to coat well
  • Heat oil in large nonstick skillet on medium-high heat. Add chicken; cook and stir 5 minutes or until well browned. Reduce heat to low. Add apple and onion; cook and stir 2 to 3 minutes
  • Stir in brown sugar, garam masala and coconut milk. Simmer, covered, 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
